at last a pinch of sugar added to my tasteless summers......W e got 8th rank out of 250 teams in the Tata Crucible 2009 .......good experience again.....good prizes also......the final round winners were from IIM-I as expected....but I feel proud that we reached the stage.......got the thrill........but damn......we were out in the wild card round......the IIM guys were faster in buzzers........we also knew the answers but we wasted our time in conforming amongst ourselves..........
The first round was prelims.....in which 20 questions were to be answered in 15 minutes.......
We answered 18 questions...( ya we know that no negative marking is there...but still....)
after a break of around 40 minutes the answers were declared and when I was counting on my fingertips.....we got a hand full of right answers.......i.e. we got 15 fully right......16th one was a spelling mistake.......
and hey.....we also got a goody bag from Tata...It contained a 2 GB pen drive.....fastrack sunglasses......and a lovely coffee mug.....
agar uss samay thode fast hote toh kya pata shayad 75K ya 35K jeet jaate.......
The quiz was wonder full and the difficulty level was hhuuuffffff.........tough......
I was missing the good old BQC....the starting music of the BQC builds a certain type of thrill and excitement.......
the last post was soooooo long.....no mistakes again....
in the end...thanks to Dhruvika Raj ( Quiz partner ) for preparing well and reaching the venue on time...........
